Build a brand worth noticing.
Resources & Cool Shit
Wanna know what my fave biz tools are? Or where I get my creative resources? You got it. Here’s the round up!
Creative Resources
Unsplash
Get better stock photos.
Using high quality, curated photography in your branding is a MAJOR flex, and Unsplash is unrivalled in its quality, considering it’s totally FREE. It’s really fucking good.
The Noun Project
Literally all of the icons.
A hot fave with designers, The Noun Project is the only place I go when I need either one or an entire set of ICONS to use in various projects.
Stocksy
Stock videos at their finest.
Wanna veer away from free resources and get some shit that not anyone can easily access? Stocksy is my go-to for really incredible (paid) quality stock videos, and photos too.
stocksy.com
You Work For Them
My go-to for fonts & designy shit.
You Work For Them has a huge range of rad fonts & design treatments and resources. They’re kinda like Creative Market, but better, IMHO.
Squarespace & Website Resources
Chrome Eye Dropper
Sample colours on Chrome.
I use this handy lil plugin SO often, it just adds to your Chrome browser and you can use the eye dropper to pick colours anywhere on your web page.
Squarespace Tools Pro Plugin *
The Squarespace mega plugin.
If you’re a Squarespace designer or you’re planning on moving content between SS websites, you NEED this plugin. It’s got a ton of features that will change the game.
Will Myers
Super unique Squarespace plugins.
Will has some really cool Squarespace plugins available, including the one I used to get my Blog posts looking fresh with the split screen!
Full Page Screenshot
Take full page screenshots.
This plugin for Chrome is friggen AWESOME. I use it a lot when I’m finished client jobs, and as a part of my design process to check the flow of the pages I’m working on.
Ghost Plugins *
Endless plugins for Squarespace.
Ghost is one of the bigger players in the game when it comes to Squarespace Plugins! They have SO many, and they’re bloody awesome.
Teachery *
My fave course hosting platform.
I’ve tried and tested all of the course hosting platforms out there, and Teachery is hands down my fave. It’s simple, customisable, the pricing is solid, and it’s just rad!
EZGIF
Turn videos into GIF’s easy peasy.
This comes in super handy when you have a video that’s too big, and you want to compress it way down to use on your website.
Business Resources
ConvertKit *
Email marketing for creators.
ConvertKit has been my main email marketing platform for years, and I love it! It’s also currently the only email platform that links to directly to Squarespace Commerce.
Notion *
Organise your entire biz.
I genuinely use Notion every day as a part of running my business now, from project planning to content planning to keeping track of day-to-day tasks, and everything in between.
*Anything with this means I’m an affiliate — aka it’s something I really bloody love!
