I've been having lots of conversations with friends lately about the state of the world, and the state of small businesses—both online and IRL ones, and there's a few things I'm noticing across the board, so I wanted to share them, and I'd love to hear your perspective if you've got anything to add!

I’ve been pulling apart the Mejuri rebrand, not in a 'hot-take' way, more in a “what is this brand/design actually doing?” way, and I ended up turning it into a whole-ass case study video for you, totes for free.

So last weekend, on February 11th, it was 13 years since I quit my job in Sydney, Australia, to be self employed. Shit that is a LONG time, and it feels like it, lol. I’ve been asked a handful of times recently what I think about ConvertKit, so I figured I’d do a little comparison with Flodesk since it seems like these are the two main players at the top of the email marketing game these days.

There’s this idea that when you have a chance to start fresh on something new, or re-imagine something you're already doing, it should be bigger and better than what you’ve done before.
